afimilk to supply rotary platforms to Chinese dairy firm Mengniu
afimilk, which develops, manufactures and markets computerized dairy management systems, has agreed to supply up to 13 rotary platforms to China-based Mengniu dairy.
afimilk, which develops, manufactures and markets computerized dairy management systems, has agreed to supply up to 13 rotary platforms to China-based Mengniu dairy.
Mengniu supplies liquid milk, yogurt, milk powder, cheese, ice cream and other products in the Chinese dairy market.
afimilk sales vice president Bjarne Rune said, "This is about signing good contracts, carefully planning projects, successfully installing equipment with our partners from Waikato, and then supporting our customers."
Waikato, afimilk's dealer in New Zealand, will supply the rotary platforms through afimilk to Mengniu.
This purchase is part of Mengniu's decision to gain greater control of milk quality by operating its own farms.
afimilk develops products such as milk meters, individual cow identification, pedometers and management and analysis software, which provides dairy producers the technology and knowledge needed to produce quality milk.
