Alcoa Consumer Products has developed the Fresh-Lock slider, a zip system with a slider that can be incorporated into existing packaging lines, without incurring high costs. According to Robert-Jan Teunissen of Alcoa this concerns a zip system with a low learning curve. Alcoa has conducted a market study among zipper users in the food and the non-food industry.
