Anchor Glass Container Corporation, Anheuser-Busch enters into new long term agreement
Anchor to supply substantially all of Anheuser-Busch’s glass requirements in the Southeast Region for their product lines.
18/11/05 Anchor Glass Container Corporation has announced that it has entered into a new multi year agreement with Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated to supply substantially all of their glass requirements in the Southeast Region for their product lines including Budweiser, Budweiser Select, Bud Light, Michelob, Michelob Light and other products. Anchor expects Bankruptcy court approval of this agreement within 30 days.
Anchor Glass Container Corporation is the third largest manufacturer of glass containers in the United States. It has eight strategically located facilities where it produces a diverse line of flint (clear), amber, green and other colored glass containers for the beer, beverage, food, liquor and flavored alcoholic beverage markets.
