Antimicrobial AlphaSan™ RC 5000 silver-based antimicrobial additive has been approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for use in food and drinking water contact applications. The product can now be incorporated into resins and plastic articles for use in applications where it is desirable to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold, etc.
