The production will nearly double. GEA Filtration will be responsible for the delivery of vital filtration equipment for this expansion, and more orders may be on the way.
Ingredients will almost double its production capacity of whey protein powder at the facility in Videbæk.
GEA Filtration is to deliver a total of five high-tech filtration units to the factory, and this makes the order a milestone for the company in several ways.
Ulrik Lund Jakobsen, director of GEA Filtration, said: “The order from Arla is one of the largest single orders ever received, and we are obviously very satisfied with it.
“However, the most important thing is that Arla, with this order, signals a high level of confidence in GEA Filtration’s sophisticated whey protein production facilities. This confidence is of great importance to us.”
