Coca-Cola North America Introduces Simply Orange In New Single-Serve Carafe
Coca-Cola North America is offering its Simply OrangeÒ premium, not-from-concentrate orange juice to U.S. consumers in a new, 400 ml single-serve carafe. The new package, which reflects the award-winning design of the original 1.75 liter carafe, will introduce Simply Orange to more consumers in a convenient, portable package for on-the-go meals.

The new package, which reflects the award-winning design of the original 1.75 liter carafe, will introduce Simply Orange to more consumers in a convenient, portable package for on-the-go meals. “Our research shows product trial and repeat purchase of the 1.75 liter Simply Orange are very strong, so we’re confident that if we get the product into the hands of more consumers in a convenient package, they’ll respond,” said Grace Teng, Simply Orange brand manager. “Simply Orange consumers love the product and we believe they’ll love its new portable package.” The Simply Orange dollar share of the $2.8 billion orange juice category has risen two points since its national launch in 2003.1 The new Simply Orange single-serve carafe will be available to retailers in March in the two top-selling varieties in the Simply Orange portfolio -- Original and Calcium. 2 The recommended retail price of the new carafes will be at parity with comparable premium, not-from-concentrate orange juices.
