Constar Grants Oxbar License to Hyosung

11/08/06 Constar International Inc. has entered into an Oxbar patent license agreement with Hyosung, a major converter in Korea, under which Hyosung will be able to supply its brewery customers with PET (polyethylene terephthalate) beer bottles having enhanced oxygen-scavenger protection for excellent retention of product quality.
The Oxbar patents are licensed to leading converters and brandowners worldwide. Bottles made under licenses to the Oxbar patents protect oxygen-sensitive products including wine, beer, fruit-based beverages and foods in PET containers. Flavor, color, and vitamin retention are among the benefits.
