COTY has decided to introduce self-degradable packaging using state of the art oxo-degradation technology for its products in Poland.
The concern which has exclusive rights to distribute such brands as PLAYBOY, Calvin Klein, Davidoff, Cerruti and JOOP now offers products in “green” bags with the d2w logo, which means that the packaging can either self-degrade thanks to a special additive or be recycled in the conventional way.
Only certified manufacturers can use d2w additives and are able to offer a wide range of products which degrade in all environments without leaving harmful substances.
So far, oxo-degradable packaging with d2w has been used by such concerns as Inditex Group (ZARA), KFC, WWF, Marks&Spencer, SONY, TESCO, WalMart, Cadbury, C&A and Marriott.
Ecoplastic Polska is an authorised distributor on the Polish market of d2w additives produced by the British company Symphony Environmental.
