Oct 14 2011 --- The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) honored Sealed Air’s Cryovac Packaging Systems as a finalist for the 2011 Packaging Innovations Award for the design of its Multi-Seal FoldLOK shredded cheese package. The award ceremony was held on Sept. 21, at the 2011 International Dairy Show in the Georgia World Congress Center.
The package takes convenience to the next level with a reclosable package designed with consumer convenience in mind. The Multi-Seal FoldLOK package utilizes robust adhesive technology, allowing consumers of all ages to easily and reliably open and reclose the package multiple times without needing to completely remove the top or use zippers. The result is a positive customer experience and reduction in packaging materials over current reclosable formats. Also, the product’s smaller package design allows retailers to display more product on the shelf, and results in sustainability benefits associated with a reduction in packaging materials.
