Taste now has a new shape: Danone launches KISS, an innovative jar that will offer a new way to enjoy yogurt.
The evocative name is actually an acronym, simple and positive, which encapsulates the concept behind the project: Keep It Simple and Safe, realize that a jar that combines the simplicity and sobriety of the pack to the care of form and functionality.
It is a major change for the company if you think that KISS is replacing the historical jar developed by Danone in the late 70's and has been imitated for over 40 years. Moreover, it is the task of the leader of the market, which is Danone, to innovate the industry in which it operates to support the growth of the entire segment.
The new format, sleek and sinuous, transforms the simple act of eating into a moment of pleasure: its cylindrical shape, which contains the same amount of product in the jar as before, is even more ergonomic and makes it easier to enjoy yogurt "until the last drop".
The rounded shape and the inscription at the base are all an integral part of the DNA of the company and are a tribute to the original jar created by Isaac Carasso, over 90 years ago.
A impactful change, on a visual level, the new jar is a novelty item on the refrigerated shelf, making the product recognizable and distinctive compared to competitors thanks to the use of colors, which will be different for each brand.
The creation of KISS, which required two years of work by the Danone team, reflects well the orientation of the Group to the continuous search for innovation with the aim to meet the demands of the consumer.
The new jar will be progressively introduced to all of the Danone brands in a path that begins now and will end with the month of April.
