GEA ecoclear ensures bacteria-free milk
The removal of unwanted bacteria is critical in the production of high-quality dairy products. Bacteria removal in the production of cheese milk, for example, helps to prevent late blowing in the cheese. The GEA Westfalia Separator Group has developed the ecoclear separator for this purpose.

The separators in the ecoclear range ensure safe and reliable bacteria removal for dairy products. The GEA Westfalia Separator proplus, a process for protein maximization in milk, is a valuable supplement to ecoclear.
The entire eco generation is equipped with the GEA Westfalia Separator hydrosoft feed system. The benefits in milk production include minimal feed pressure, gentle product feed, minimal shear forces and, as a result, maximum separation efficiency. Motors with frequency converters are standard. A clutch is therefore no longer required which, in turn, means fewer wear parts and less maintenance. The frequency converter optimizes the start-up cycle of the separators and saves up to 10% power compared to conventional drives. The eco separators are additionally equipped with flat belt drives instead of standard gears. The overall drive system concept excels due to its availability, high efficiency and greatest possible reliability.
The eco separators can be easily integrated into the process line. They are available as stand-alone machines or frame-mounted skid units including control system with short delivery times, are CIP-able and offer extensive upgrade options.
