Ishida Atlas-222 bagmakers from Heat and Control feature two firsts for snack food packaging: durable ceramic anvil knives and a 3-year warranty.
The knives are made from a proprietary ceramic-metal alloy developed for machine tools and parts requiring high resistance to abrasion, high temperatures and corrosion. Ishida Atlas-222 bagmakers allow processors to produce bag sizes from 3 to 9 in. wide and up to 21 in. long.
Ishida’s patented film-loading system requires no manual centering and includes a vacuum splice plate for quick, simple film changes. Automatic film tracking, registration and unwind controls as well as Ishida’s patented servo-controlled pull-down belt and rotary back seal systems reduce downtime and waste.
