Heineken Launches Non-Alcoholic Beer With Wash Off Labels: The world’s second largest brewing company Heineken has launched an alcohol-free version of their flagship brand. Currently the “Heineken 0.0” is available in the Netherlands and Germany – as well as in Spain under the name “Heineken Double”. Even though the new design unites all the typical features of a Heineken label it visually sets it apart from the main brand. The metallic blue in combination with the iconic red star as well as silver and white elements create a harmonious design that will draw a lot of attention.
The labels were supplied by long-term partner CCL Label. Heineken already relies on CCL’s Wash Off technology for many of their brands worldwide. This special kind of Pressure Sensitive Label can be washed off in common industrial bottle washers. Thanks to their well-engineered functionality they detach from the bottles without leaving traces of adhesive or ink behind – making them the ideal solution for returnable glass bottles.
