Henkel updates personal care brand Fa with new packaging and formulas
Henkel’s personal care brand, Fa, has updated its packaging materials, design, and ingredient formulations to include recycled materials, bright colors, and natural formulas.
The packaging design depicts Fa’s water wave image, emphasizing refreshment. The fragrance lines display “colorful” and “invigorating” designs.
Also in the relaunched collection, Fa’s 250 mL and 400 mL shower gels are now made from recycled plastic, and its deodorant packaging consists of 50% recycled aluminum. The aluminum can is also lighter, which, according to the company, helps reduce the product’s carbon footprint.
Fa’s shower gel formulations contain 93% natural ingredients, and fragrances now include mood-enhancing scents. Updated product lines include Soft, Soft and Oil, Fresh, Moods, Men, Kids, and deodorants.
The relaunched portfolio was made available in August 2025.
Earlier this year, Henkel replaced fossil-based materials with renewable alternatives in the cleaning formula and packaging of its Bref toilet rim blocks. The change will impact most of Bref’s European sold products, supporting the company’s net-zero goals.
Henkel also recently introduced Technomelt EM 335 RE, a hot melt adhesive to help meet recycling requirements.
