For the needs of various food service operators Huhtamaki introduces a new kind of salad packaging called Twister Bowl. It is easier to open than the traditional bowls with snap-on lids since for the first time in single-use salad bowls, it uses the twist-locking lid mechanism familiar to everyone on jars and bottles. This patented closure makes the bowl exceptionally easy, safe, and convenient to use – it closes tightly, opens easily and is spill proof in take-away use. In addition, lid fits nicely underneath the bowl when opened, making eating easy even when table space limited. Twister Bowl concept includes a wide plate like bowl and a domed, crystal clear APET lid. The shape and design emphasize the attractiveness of the salad. The black color of the PS bowl brings out the salad’s natural colors nicely and the domed lid makes justice to the size of the salad. Especially designed for complete salad meals, it gives them a premium appearance. The new Twister Bowl is handy also from the operator’s point of view. The design of the bowl and the lid ensure easy placement and preparation of the salads while lid shape guarantees good stacking of the bowls for neat display. The lid can also be easily customized with embossing or labeling.
