The Ishida AirScan leak detector offers fast and 100% reliable and completely non-destructive identification of leaks in MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) packs which use CO2 as part of the MAP process. It is ideal for a wide variety of products including fresh meat, poultry, seafood, ready meals, fruit, salad, vegetables as well as cheese and other dairy products.
Ishida’s unique IX-G2 X-ray system uses advanced dual energy technology to easily distinguish contaminants from the product, even in the most difficult applications. Where ordinary X-ray detection equipment obtains an image using X-rays of one energy, the IX-G2 uses rays of two different energies to produce two images. These are then compared, which helps to eliminate the background effect caused by the product itself and improves the detection of low-density contaminants such as bone fragments.
Ishida’s dual energy technology is particularly appropriate for foods where the density of the product and the potential contamination is similar, for example the bone and meat of a chicken which have almost the same density. The system can also be used for overlapping products, where a possible contaminant may be obscured by the product, such as in bags of frozen chicken nuggets or sausages.
The DACS-G checkweigher is capable of exceptional speeds while maintaining high accuracy, and, at the touch of a button, is able to switch between two weighing ranges, allowing food manufacturers to handle more products on one machine. It can also be easily integrated with the enhanced Ishida Data Capture System (IDCS II), a user-friendly, secure software programme that records the data of every pack weighed from up to 100 checkweighers into a single secure database. IDCS II offers an extensive range of reporting options to enable production managers to employ state-of-the-art monitoring for legislative compliance while also identifying cost saving opportunities, minimising product giveaway and improving production efficiencies.
The CCW-RV multihead weigher features 5 litre hoppers and is ideal for fresh and frozen foods at speeds of up to 100 packs per minute. RV models combine higher speeds - some 15% faster than previous ranges – with consistent weighing at close-to-zero giveaway. An improved user interface includes an ultra-fast touch screen for quicker and easier set up, while the CCW-RV can also be operated remotely via wireless access with tablets, androids and smart phones. Enhanced security features include fingerprint verification access.
The hygienic design is IP69k-rated and maintains Ishida’s legendary durability and reliability, with a robust construction that enables the weigher to operate reliably even in the most difficult environments. A new Power Management system provides three power modes (Full, Half and Eco), which help deliver 20% lower power consumption.
Developed specifically for sticky products such as meat, poultry and fish which are traditionally difficult to move efficiently through an automated weighing system, the 14 head Ishida screw feeder weigher incorporates unique rotating corkscrews to provide a powerful, controlled and fully automatic product feed to the pool and weigh hoppers. In addition, a set of booster hoppers directly underneath the weigh hoppers means the machine has 28 hoppers from which to choose the combination that most closely matches the required target weight, thereby increasing accuracy, speed and efficiency.
