JBT signs $4m freezer deal with French processor
JBT FoodTech, a subsidiary of JBT Corporation, has signed a deal worth more than $4m to supply freezing solutions to a French-based food processing plant.
JBT FoodTech, a subsidiary of JBT Corporation, has signed a deal worth more than $4m to supply freezing solutions to a French-based food processing plant.
The company will supply two multi-module Flat Product Freezers to replace cryogenic freezing lines currently used by the company.
The order was received in Q4 2011, with the project scheduled to be fully operational in Q4 2012. JBT Corporation, which provides technology solutions to the food processing and air transportation industries, operates in over 25 countries and employs around 3,300 people worldwide.
“We are very pleased with the continued confidence this order expresses in JBT’s leading freezing technologies,” said the JBT FoodTech’s Torbiorn Arvidsson.
“This project is an excellent example of how JBT FoodTech partners with global customers and provides them with solutions that offer higher freezing capacity and lower operating costs.”
