LANICO, a leading supplier of equipment to the can making and canning industry, will be presenting its super-efficient can former, CF 411, at this year’s METPACK in Essen (Germany).

LANICO, a leading supplier of equipment to the can making and canning industry, will be presenting its super-efficient can former, CF 411, at this year’s METPACK in Essen (Germany).
The LANICO CF 411 is a versatile system for the mid to high-speed production of round cans. It is the only machine available worldwide that combines a wide working range from 73 to 200 mm diameter with fast format changeover and a high output of up to 300 cans per minute. The machine is especially well suited to the production of three piece welded necked-in or straight walled general line cans. The CF 411 is most often employed in the production of large powdered milk cans, party beer kegs, large paint cans as well as cans for food and industrial products.  

The can former, equipped with three carrousels, offers exceptional reliability and flexibility in conjunction with a variety of materials properties. One of the CF 411’s technical highlights is its rapid changeover system for switching to different can diameters. The use of modular, preset components helps to significantly reduce downtimes while also minimizing or completely eliminating the need to make adjustments. The motor driven adjustment system of the CF 411 permits height changes to be performed within seconds – tool-free and with absolute precision.     

The LANICO can former CF 411 is being shown from 6 - 10 May 2014 at the METPACK in Essen (Germany), in Hall 3.0, Booth H10.
