24/08/07 Magneto Brand Advertising, a creatively-driven brand focused agency, launched the designs for distiller Sub Rosa Spirits' two new infused vodkas -- Sub Rosa Saffron and Sub Rosa Tarragon.
Sub Rosa Spirits of Dundee, OR is a micro-distillery producing non-traditional distillates that carry great intensity and flavor. The distiller has developed a line of spirits that will launch this fall on the west coast starting with the Sub Rosa Saffron and Sub Rosa Tarragon vodkas. The unique vodkas are made using traditional distilling techniques and infused with fresh herbs and spices.

"Sub Rosa is Latin for 'under the rose' and implies secrecy. It has been associated with secret societies throughout history. The Magneto team came up with ideas that embodied the brand's mysterious tone. "The challenge was to embody the clandestine nature of Sub Rosa and create interest on the store shelf or at a bar," said Craig Opfer, Magneto's principal and creative director.
"We really have to distinguish our brand in a crowded category. We wanted to create awareness right out of the gate for our unique vodkas. The labels really capture the intrigue and intimacy of the brand," said Mike Sherwood, owner of Sub Rosa Spirits.
