The packaging was designed to create an instant buzz about the new product and make it stand out on the shelf. The packaging had to say, "delicious and healthy on-the-go snacking" at first glance. Michael was briefed to create vibrant, whimsical outdoor illustrations, which convey the friendly, all natural values of the brand.
To maximize brand awareness and quickly communicate a message of "delicious and healthy on-the-go snacking", Murray Brand Communications designed Willamette Valley Granola Company's new product packaging with an emphasis on whimsical outdoor illustrations and a vibrant color palette. This design strategy serves to create a visual buzz at retail, brand block the competition and quickly draw the consumer's attention to a new product offering. The result is a visual signature that not only creates exceptional brand awareness on shelf but also intuitively conveys the brand's essence of friendly, portable, all natural, and uniquely delicious.
