Midleton Very Rare 2017 Unveiled In A New Bottle By Allied
Irish Distillers has recently launched its’ Midleton Very Rare 2017 Irish whisky in a luxurious glass bottle inspired by Irish literature and craftsmanship, designed by Nude and manufactured by Allied Glass.
A truly unique design, excellence is expressed in every feature of the bottle which takes inspiration from a writer’s ink well recognizing Ireland’s history of producing world-class literature and linking to the craftsmanship which goes into distilling the liquid whilst the distinctive soft dip in the shoulder reflects the nib of a pen.
Michael Hogley, Allied’s Head of Design and Decoration says: “The Irish whisky category is flourishing which made working on this project very exciting, Allied Glass having been focused on ensuring that everything about the manufacture of this bottle perfectly communicates the brand’s premium positioning.” A limited number of bottles of Midleton Very Rare have been released every year by the Midleton Distillery since 1984, making the exclusive whisky highly collectable. Master Distiller Brian Nation personally selects a small number of casks to produce the no age statement whisky, which is matured in American oak barrels.
