Krones has developed a new generation of software systems for monitoring technology. Called Distributed Architecture for Real Time (DART), the software provides an alternative to PLCs when they are not feasible due to economics or space constraints.

Krones has developed a new generation of software systems for monitoring technology. Called Distributed Architecture for Real Time (DART), the software provides an alternative to PLCs when they are not feasible due to economics or space constraints. DART will make its debut in Krones’ Checkmat Series of modular inspection systems for liquids and will soon be available for dry applications, as well. Software features an expandable memory architecture, which enables future inspection requirements to be implemented.
