Nicholl Food Packaging has been appointed as a UK distributor for Hotform Production, a leading Italian producer of thermoformed plastic containers for a wide variety of food and confectionery.
Hotform Production is well known for its extensive range of standard products from hinged lidded rectangular containers in transparent PET or OPS and sealable trays in PP, to salad containers and cutlery. The company also has a leading reputation for custom-designed products such as trays for biscuits, containers for cakes and bakeries, cheese containers and lids for yoghurt cups.
The appointment is the latest development in a busy period of expansion for Nicholl Food Packaging which has also recently been appointed as a distributor for UK and Ireland by both Plastopil, a leading manufacturer of multilayer flexible barrier films and Stora Enso for its new DeLight fibre-based tray solution for consumer goods packaging.
These additional ranges are part of Nicholl’s ongoing diversification programme with the introduction of several new lines to complement the company’s established market leading range of over 650 aluminium foil trays.
