This is a major design project that takes Pure’s relationship with this high profile, boutique brand into its 17th year. Trevor Sorbie’s Commercial Director, Carol Stephens said, “Pure remains the obvious choice of design agency as they have great creative credentials and provide a level of responsiveness and client service that is second to none." Trevor Sorbie’s new Salon Hair Care Collection features new regimes to target troubles from fine, limp locks to weak, brittle hair, with formulations that are all Sulphate, Sodium and Paraben Free making the products gentle on colour-treated hair and kinder to the scalp. The range has been developed to bring out the best in all hair types, offering Thicker & Fuller, Tame & Define, Strengthen & Repair, Smooth & hydrate, Pure & Gentle, Colour Protect and Precious Oils.
Pure’s founder and Creative Director David Rogers explains, “The hair care market is continually evolving, driven by new ingredient innovations and this range shows how far the maker is going to satisfy the consumer, with products for every possible hair need.” A key aspect of the design is that shampoos and conditioners are matched, with a colored pack for the shampoo and a coordinated white pack for the corresponding conditioner, an approach that makes products easier to shop and encourages sales of shampoos and conditioners in pairs. In addition, to ensure consistent colour the label design goes right to the top of the crimp. In conjunction with the packaging Pure designed PR materials to launch the range into the market.
