An air-tight case to protect a unique formulation
The challenge here was to design an air-tight pack in order to protect and preserve the long-wearing isododecane-based formula in the new Extreme Stay Pen.

A fleur-de-lys finish: the art of highlighting a product's femininity and sensuality
This pen sits perfectly inside the new range of Nivea Beauty makeup launched in 2005 and reproduces the metallized light blue colour shade that Rexam had already developed for the 2 foundation cases (Pressed Powder and Foundation).
To create distinction for the first lipstick ever to use extracts of lily – well-known for their covering potential – Nivea wanted to reproduce this potent symbol on its Extreme Stay pen. So Rexam proposed an SAN thick-walled lens which, through a magnifying effect, helps to enhance the fleur-de-lys engraved in the cap mould.
Solving technical requirements to bring out greater beauty
To ensure perfect alignment between the lens and cap, which are cut pieces, Rexam developed a special indexing system to facilitate manual assembly and guarantee consistent quality.
