Norwegians go nuts over FlexCan

Norwegian peanut company KiMs Norge has chosen Amcor FlexCan for its Polly Peanøtter and Polly Turmiks nut products and invested in two VPI machines from Rovema. KiMs QA and R&D manager Stein Rønne says: “Amcor FlexCan is the perfect consumer-friendly solution for this kind of product, since its wide opening makes it easy to help yourself to handfuls of nuts directly from the pack or pour some of the contents into a bowl.

It can be resealed to keep the product fresh.” The striking red packs are reverse printed gravure in seven colours by Amcor Flexibles Drammen in Norway on a wide-web Cerutti press. The three-ply laminate of OPP, metallised PET and lapseal PE (produced by AF Otto Nielsen) includes Amcor’s patented, easy-open reclose flap.
