On-the-go packaging: Yili puts the first “smile” on China’s shelves
05 Apr 2018 --- Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co (Yili), Chinas largest dairy producer, has chosen an on-the-go packaging solution provided by SIG, for its new milk brand. The packaging solution is called combismile and markets itself as ideal for consumer's on-the-go.
The combismile design has a shape consisting of rounded cheeks and grip corners that fit the hand, and a closure fitting that ideal for drinking on the move, according to SIG.
Each combismile filling machine has an output of 24,000 packs an hour, high-speed performance, volume flexibility and drinking capability added by newly developed spout and straw applicators. Together, this represents SIG’s most complete line solution to date.
The new variety of the Shuhua premium milk is currently available in combismile Small 220 ml with a drinking straw, and is marketed toward the highly driven, mobile and health-conscious consumer.
