Packaging prize for Hochland
A few months after introducing on the market, Hochland got the “German packaging prize„ for this new product.
Hochland “HEISSE SCHEIBEN„ is perfect for dishes from the oven: Because of the special developed recipe the slice is smelting tenderly and deliciously. A creamy feeling in the mouth and a great taste are guaranteed, both using on toast and for dishes from the oven. Hochland “HEISSE SCHEIBEN„ are available since June in the kind of sorts “mild„, “spicy„, “mediterranean herbs„ and “hot„. A few months after introducing on the market, Hochland got the “German packaging prize„ for this new product.
The tasty slice itself is a further development that convinces in the processed cheese market. Also, the special and useful packaging is a real innovation with “manifest„ benefit for the consumers: The foil of each cheese slice can be opened very easy thanks to the two good visible clips. Moreover, the slices are safely packed in a reclosable cardboard box with a flap lid that is unique in the market of individually wrapped cheese slices. The packaging with premium print is an eye catcher in the cheese shelf.
The jury of the German Packaging institute (DVI) with experts from industry, trade, organizations, media and universities was also committed to all these qualities. This year, 232 innovative packagings and packaging machines from 12 countries have been submitted. 25 innovations got an award.

For the second time, Hochland can be proud of getting this famous prize for packaging innovations. After its introducing, also the freshness box of “Hochland Sandwich Scheiben„ has been awarded by DVI.
