Voridian Aqua PET WA314 is the co.s most advanced PET for single-serve water containers. It delivers the lowest preform and bottle acetaldehyde (AA) levels available, the co. claims. The polymer features an intrinsic viscosity of 0.76 to satisfy fitness-for-use criteria of both lightweight water packages, and those that require thermal stability. WA314s melting point is about 3 deg C lower than competing resins, enabling faster production speeds, light-weighting and blowing at lower temperatures.
