ISHIDA Europe, of Birmingham, has launched the FDP3000SB Weigh Price Labeller - a second model for the European market but of a lower specification than its fully automated predecessor. The medium speed machine targets food processors and packers requiring reliable consistent operation and value-for-money, says the company, which has developed the labeller for a number of key market sectors including red meat, poultry, dairy, fish and fresh produce. Suitable for labelling trays, cups and whole chicken packs at up to 75 labels/minute, the labeller features an LCD touch-screen and keyboard operation with 72 memory presets, and a combination of mechanical and air-assisted label placement systems.
