Reproflex3 acquires UK-based ANF for corrugated and pharmaceutical packaging boost
18 Aug 2023 --- Prepress, flexographic plate manufacturer and FMCG packaging print specialist, Reproflex3 has strengthened its position in the UK with the acquisition of ANF, a producer of flexographic printing plates for the packaging industry.
The investment will support Reproflex3’s expansion inside the European corrugated packaging sector by increasing its production capabilities and growing its footprint in the pharmaceutical industry, shares the company.
Headquartered in the UK, Reproflex3 operates prepress in Europe, the Middle East, India and New Zealand, while ANF works with printers, FMCG brands and pharmaceutical companies throughout the UK and Europe.

Packaging industry acquisitions
In the most recent industry takeovers, Amcor acquired Indian flexible packaging specialist Phoenix Flexibles, located in Gujarat, which generates an annual revenue of approximately US$20 million from the sale of flexible packaging for food, home care and personal care applications.
Meanwhile, CD&R acquired global packaging firm Veritiv in a reported US$2.3 billion deal, and Wendel sold Constantia Flexibles to One Rock Capital Partners.
Additionally, DS Smith expanded regional packaging activity in Eastern Europe by acquiring Serbian packaging company Bosis doo, with a focus on FMCG customers.
