Rexam Launches Prodigio, Technological Dispensing Performance Developed from the CleanPoint Process

20/10/06 The Prodigio, to be unveiled by REXAM in an exclusive preview at the Luxe Pack Trade Show in Monaco, is a lotion airless dispenser whose totally original closure device allows for unmatched cleanliness and neutrality. Prodigious cleanliness
The outstanding performance achieved with the Prodigio dispenser is the upshot of new CleanPoint technology developed by Rexam Dispensing Systems. The product's exit tip lies at the core of this process.
The air tight CleanPoint closure is activated by an obturator which, once the cream has moved through, slides and so ensures the perfect closure of the exit tip. Prodigio means no more dried cream deposits and also eliminates the risk of clogging at the exit tip or around the chamber. The result is guaranteed cleanliness for the dispenser and the lotion. The patent-protected Airless pump mechanism is fitted with wider internal channels for optimal fluidity. This allows regular, smooth and agreeable product use without messy splashes or clogging.
Amazing neutrality
Because there is no contact between the lotion and any metal part of elastomer, Prodigio ensures high neutrality and so promotes even greater compatibility. The air-tight CleanPoint closure makes it impossible for any product that might have been in contact with the air, light or skin to flow back into the dispenser, so keeping it neutral and free of any impairment. Prodigio is also 100% recyclable.

Production is planned to start during 2007 at Dispensing Systems's Tournus site (France) which is specialized in Airless dispensers.
