Fleetwood, a Barry-Wehmiller Co., offers design improvements to its Air Doubling Box designed for high-speed single filing of aluminum, steel and tinplate cans. The new D4 Air Doubling Box has sustained production rates exceeding 2200 bright cans/min without gapping or surging. Design improvements include a larger internal surface area, 4'-W waterfall infeed, larger blower capacity, and precise control of the air pressure in the various internal zones.
