A new line of heat-set PET bottles features wide-mouth orifices and customizable features. The designs combine the latest in PET technology and structural design to produce a variety of shapes for hot-fill, single-serve applications. The bottles feature a rounded shoulder and two vertical pillars on opposite sides of the body, providing ample space for labeling or embossing. Traditional vacuum panels have been replaced by four horizontal rib panels in the "grip area," which absorb some of the vacuum and enhance gripping and squeezability. These can also be customized with textures or patterns. The bottles, available in 20-, 24- and 32-oz sizes, are designed for hot-fill applications up to 185 deg F and feature a 43 mm orifice. A coextruded version is also available.
