Sunblest is introducing price-marked packs to its range of bakery favourites from 5th August 2012. With 44% of shoppers indicating that they are more likely to buy a product on impulse if it’s price marked, the new packs are designed to help convenience retailers drive bakery sales.
Starting for a 12-week period at 75p per pack, the promotion will be available across packs of Sunblest Chocolate Chip Muffins, Sunblest Double Chocolate Muffins and Sunblest Fruited Scones.
Guy Shepherd, Category Director, Allied Bakeries explains: “Price marked packs add great value for the convenience retailer. Not only do they help shoppers to easily identify the price of the item, making them more likely to purchase, but 24% have indicated that seeing the price displayed in this way demonstrates value for money.”
To help retailers maximise the sales potential from these new packs, Allied Bakeries is also able to provide point of sale tools, such as posters and shelf edge barkers to showcase the range.
