Syrian company Alfares Pharmaceuticals has become the first healthcare manufacturer in the Middle East to use PP Payne's Supastrip for the easy opening of its product range.
Its range comprises syrups, tablets, capsules, sachets, gels, creams and ointments. With many of its products over-wrapped, the company required an easy opening mechanism to provide user convenience and bring added value to its packaging. PP Payne's Supastrip is said to provide a fast and reliable system to allow consumers convenient access to the packs.

The tape's cold adhesive application creates a lay-flat finish to ensure the tear tape does not detract from the overall pack appearance or brand image. Alfares Pharmaceuticals has selected 2mm Supastrip, in red for enhanced visibility. The tape is supplied on 12km bobbins to allow longer production runs between changeovers.
