Tetley Begins 2008 with Major On-Pack Promotion
The points are hidden in unique promotional codes carried on around 25 million promotional packs of Tetley standard, Tetley decaf, Tetley Extra Strong and Tetley Organic.
02/01/08 Called “Free Fun For Everyone” it involves a wide mix of organisations who have been brought together to offer millions of pounds worth of free offers, special 2 for 1 deals, and fantastic discounts for days out, sports and leisure activities and holidays all of which are up for grabs in return for tea bag points.
The points are hidden in unique promotional codes carried on around 25 million promotional packs of Tetley standard, Tetley decaf, Tetley Extra Strong and Tetley Organic.
The bigger the pack the more points you get. The tea bag points can be used immediately or collected one or more of the 2,000 different activities on offer from a free child’s swim (40 points), a month of unlimited DVDs from Lovefilm (240 points), to 2 for 1 deals at Ramada Jarvis hotels (480 points).
Consumers register online or by phone to open their ‘tea pot account’ so that they can save and spend their points on fun.
In addition to the promotional codes, instant 2 for 1 deals are being given away to key UK attractions including Alton Towers, Madame Tussauds, Thorpe Park, Chessington, Sealife, and Dungeons.
The promotional packs have a further element of fun with an altered Tetley logo giving the promotion greater presence on shelf. The promotion will run from January to June next year with consumers able to redeem points until 31 December 2008.
