The ScanTrac 200 inspects packaged products for foreign material contamination, detects packaging imperfections and confirms contents. Designed specifically for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, it operates at speeds of up to 700 ft/min, inspecting as many as 2,200 containers/min. 

The ScanTrac 200 inspects packaged products for foreign material contamination, detects packaging imperfections and confirms contents. Designed specifically for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, it operates at speeds of up to 700 ft/min, inspecting as many as 2,200 containers/min. The system identifies contaminants such as metal, shards of glass, stones, bone, rubber and other dense materials. It#s also capable of detecting voids and underfills, as well as damaged containers, and it can verify that package components and product composition conform to specifications. Proprietary image processing software allows the ScanTrac to inspect containers back-to-back, eliminating the need for timing belts. Handling products up to 7312 in., the unit requires 4 to 6 linear ft of conveyor space, depending on the application. X-ray levels are adjustable to accommodate a range of products or packages, and a NEMA4/IP65 enclosure facilitates operation in washdown environments.
