TricorBraun WinePak Adds Quality Assurance Program
Earlier this year TricorBraun WinePak acquired Trilogy Glass and Packaging, Inc. of Santa Rosa, Calif. and the company recently opened a new warehouse in Fairfield, Calif.
25 May 2012 --- TricorBraun WinePak, North America’s largest supplier of wine packaging, has launched a Quality Assurance Program to help wineries enhance their profitability by effectively matching bottles, labels and closures with their filling equipment. The new program also expands TricorBraun’s ability to troubleshoot bottling line problems.
Greg Creamer, has been named Director of Quality Assurance/WinePak Division, according to George W. Dempsey, TricorBraun chief operating officer.
Before joining TricorBraun WinePak, Mr. Creamer had been an operations manager for Sebastiani & Sons and Rutherford Ranch wineries in addition to working as an independent wine industry consultant. His background includes: designing bottling lines, overseeing the purchase and maintenance of bottling equipment as well as evaluating wineries packaging expense relative to prevailing retail price points.
Prior posts also include: ten years with Clorox where he was a production line engineer and similar positions with Bronco and R.H. Phillips wineries.
“This is the third step in differentiating TricorBraun from other wine packaging suppliers,” Mr. Dempsey said.

“The Trilogy acquisition doubled TricorBraun WinePak’s sales force and clearly established it as North America’s largest supplier of wine packaging,” according to Andrew Bottene, senior vice president, TricorBraun WinePak.
The company now has offices in Northern and Southern California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia.
The company also recently opened a new warehouse that is 65 percent larger than its predecessor and it includes a $2 million repacking system designed to automatically transfer wine bottles from eight-foot high stacks of pallets to individual wineries’ custom, 12-bottle cartons.
“This three-step strategy will further differentiate TricorBraun WinePak from others in our industry,” Mr. Bottene added.
