In creating their spring 2-Pack promotion, EOS created a series of limited edition lip balms that celebrated the season. The Melrose Park creative team collaborated with EOS to explore structural, material and decorative options to showcase the product, load efficiently during pack out, and add vibrancy to the brand’s newest design.
In creating their spring 2-Pack promotion, EOS created a series of limited edition lip balms that celebrated the season. The Melrose Park creative team collaborated with EOS to explore structural, material and decorative options to showcase the product, load efficiently during pack out, and add vibrancy to the brand’s newest design. The package features a rigid windowed carton to display two stacked spheres of lip balm with top and bottom inner bumpers to hold the product in place. By integrating the internal structure with the outer carton, our design team eliminated separate inserts, reducing touch-points and improving fulfillment efficiencies. Cheerful springtime graphics add a touch of whimsy and create color continuity between the product and package. Being new to matte/gloss coating combinations on their secondary packaging, EOS relied on our team to recommend an approach that would bring the graphics to life. The team helped EOS explore ways to use contrasting gloss levels to highlight brand elements. Having produced similar cartons for L’Oreal, the Melrose Park team understood the technical requirements for this type of project. From prepress and structural design to manufacturing and quality assurance, supplied a complete package of solutions to EOS.
