A uniquely designed tub from RPC Bebo Polska has helped new brand Smakowita become Poland’s top-selling spread. The Bebo factory in Poznan is currently working around the clock to meet the demand for this eye-catching pack. Launched in 2002, Smakowita offers a combination of margarine and the best Polish butter. Rich in A, D and E vitamins, it has quickly become popular with customers for its distinctive flavour. When planning the launch of the new product, manufacturer ZPT Warszawa wanted to create a unique identity for the brand and ensure immediate impact on-shelf and therefore approached RPC Bebo Polska to devise an appropriate packaging solution. The resulting design is based on an original concept from sister RPC Bebo site in Goor, the Netherlands. It features a square shaped tub that is different from anything else on the market. Eye catching graphics, including all-over lid printing using RPC Bebo’s Bebo-Print facility, convey the distinctive nature of the product and in particular its suitability for fresh bread. The 500g tub is thermoformed in polypropylene with a hermetically sealed lid to maintain product freshness
