In brief: Launches and certifications
E-commerce packaging company Rieke and online retail giant Amazon have partnered to develop the “first leak-free trigger sprayer” to enhance customers' satisfaction and have frustration-free experience. The new closure design mates with HDPE and PET bottles for household cleaners and other homecare products.
The Gallo brand has launched a new olive oil that is said to be made with the first olives of the harvest. The accompanying packaging was given an “exclusive” design and was printed by CCL label. The leaves are golden, to reflect the golden hue of the oil. This effect was achieved using metallic inks. Furthermore, a pearlescent white background was chosen for its likeness to “early morning dew drops,” the company explains.
