Zip-Pak Showcases Innovative Solutions at ProPak China

Zip360™ features a wide-mouth opening that allows consumers of snack mixes, frozen chicken, cookies and crackers, and pet food and treats to easily access and scoop contents. Zip360™ also enables pour-spout functionality, a benefit ideal for cereal, frozen food and vegetable applications.
The package style also enables graphics to be printed around the entire surface area of the pouch to maximize point-of-purchase impact whilst maintaining product freshness. Like other Zip-Pak resealable solutions, Zip360™ eliminates the need to transfer contents into a separate container, keeping marketing messages in front of the consumer from initial purchase to last use.
“Zip360™ has been well received in the North American and European markets,” said Tracy Wang, Business Development Manager, Zip-Pak China, “With increasing demand for convenience by Chinese consumers, Zip360™ will prove to be a great solution for Chinese brand owners who wish to enhance or promote their brand and differentiate their products.”
In May 2011, Zip-Pak introduced the Package Realization Team™, a new approach that will help brand-owners transition from existing package styles to consumer-preferred resealable flexible formats. For each unique project, a team is assembled to consult with consumer product goods (CPG) companies and retailers on how to implement cost-effective and efficient resealable closure solutions. Team configurations vary according to project needs, but may include representatives from sales, marketing, product development, operations, machinery and technical service.
Chinese manufacturers are also expected to benefit from the lower costs brought about by Zip-Pak’s recently established Guangzhou factory.
At this year’s ProPak China, Zip-Pak will also showcase a simple and economical resealable solution: Reseal 360 Series Crossweb Zip Applicator. This well-designed and easy-to-use applicator adds resealable functionality to a range of machines including horizontal flow wrappers, vertical form fill seal machines and bag making machines.
