100 percent recyclable thermal transfer ribbons

TTR Euroworks has a unique, 100 percent recyclable Thermal Transfer Ribbon product, which it is offering to the market. “We use a special ingredient for the product, and because of this special recipe, we can make granulates. These granulates, when mixed with PET granulates, can create other products. Waste containers and flower pots, for example, all black hard plastic and low value” Carlo Lucas, 4U TTRecycling Manager, told PackagingInsights at Empack 2018. Currently, 90 percent of TTR ribbons are thrown away, and each roll of TTR creates co2 emissions of 3x its own weight. “It’s a way to deliver a contribution to save our planet for the future.”
