16/04/08 Coca Cola Romania has launched the new Coca Cola 500 ml bottle on the Romanian market to replace all the other 500 ml plastic bottles for Coca Cola, Coca Cola Light, and Coca Cola Zero.

The fresh beverage bottler describes the new packaging as being extremely practical due to its easily manipulating shape and to its packaging texture which improves adherence. The new bottle launch represents the first major change of the 500 ml Coca Cola plastic bottle in the last 23 years.

The marketing campaign supporting the new format includes both advertising (TVC, print, outdoor and promotional materials within sale points) and PR and BTL components.

Coca Cola HBC Romania, the biggest refreshment beverage producer on the market, has announced the reorganization of its distribution and storing services through entire externalization towards specialized companies. After externalizing stocking for a big number of Romanian cities, the bottler is presently envisaging collaboration with various beverage retailers on Brasov, Pitesti and Iasi markets as well.

According to the Coca Cola HBC Romania representatives, the older collaboration with specialized logistic companies in locations like Timisoara, Oradea, Cluj, Craiova had a positive impact on the company’s business up to present.
