Alcan has created an entirely new type of container to house concentrated liquid coffee. The new package is a flexible stand-up pouch containing fitments designed to provide superior product evacuation. The pouch is compatible with newly designed dispensing machines that have several chambers to house precisely measured portions of concentrated coffee. The chambers are attached to fitments which lead into a flexible container that holds enough concentrate to make over a thousand cups of coffee without requiring the use of a filter. The new packaging eliminates the labor involved in filling and pre-stacking filters, and results in a neater, cleaner, fresher, more convenient, less costly coffee service.
