Amcor unveils airless dispenser to protect personal care formulas

Amcor has launched an airless dispensing system to protect personal care formulations, such as foundation or skin care. The Magic One dispenser is made from polyolefin and is recycle-ready in countries with appropriate infrastructure.
Amcor explains that its 96% recycling recovery rate meets PPWR recyclability standards.

“Our new Magic One dispenser addresses the needs of both manufacturers and consumers with a solution that combines beautiful aesthetics, a positive consumer experience, and flexibility, and has been designed for PPWR compliance.”
The new dispenser is also 9% lighter than other Amcor airless dispensers and can include recycled polymers from the global packaging manufacturer’s proprietary CleanStream recycling technology.
Magic One features a “single engine concept” that can deliver output volumes between 0.3 mL and 1 mL. Manufacturers can customize the dispenser for a range of products, helping to bring products to market more quickly.
According to Amcor, the single-engine design also means that companies need to invest only in one set of validation testing across all different variations of Magic One.
Protecting formulas
Amcor’s Magic One delivers accurate dosage angles. The dispenser has a lockable dispensing pump, suitable for portable use.
Amcfor also offers a choice of decoration options for brand personalization, to “ensure maximum on-shelf appeal and a premium image.”
The packaging supplier is currently commissioning a new line for the dispenser at its factory in Lohne, Germany, with first deliveries anticipated in early 2027.
Recently, personal care packager Baralan enhanced its glass airless technology with the DEA 2.0 container, aiming to ensure precise and consistent dispensing, formula protection, and premium product appearance.
