Aptar Closures has collaborated with Cheer Pack North America, a manufacturer of spouted flexible pouch and cap packaging, to provide a leak-free customer experience for Cheer Pack NA’s SqueezeNSip spout.
Cheer Pack NA’s pouches use Aptar Closures’ patented Elastomeric Flow Control technology. The solution has been outfitted with SureSnap, a combination flow control valve and retaining ring that, after opening, enables dispensing and “reliably closes” upon release for clean product cutoff, according to the companies.
Compatible with various pouch configurations, the SqueezeNSip Spout is a mess-free, portable dispensing solution that can be applied to juices and other beverages, as well as low-viscosity items such as drinkable yogurt, fruit juices, and smoothies.

Hygienic and eco-friendly design
According to the companies, the SqueezeNSip spout turns away from “price-first decision-making” and toward experiential factors such as consistent flow control, clean/hygienic product cutoff, and leak resistance.
The spout dispenses are designed to be suitable for school lunches, travel, and other on-the-go settings. The pouches incorporating the SqueezeNSip spout comprise up to 60% less material than rigid plastic bottles.
Aptar Closures’ SureSnap features an elastomeric valve and polyolefin retaining ring, available in different sizes, opening pressures, and flow rates. The valves are phthalate- and bisphenol A-free, molded from food-grade materials.
