Sustainability has become a major driving force in the beverage industry. Aptar introduces the 1881 light Original Sport Closure : less plastic and no compromise on performance.
The lower profile of the 1881 light Original enables weight savings of 25% compared to the 28mm PCO/BPF version. Moreover, this lower profile neck finish also means weight savings on the preform.
The closure retains the same high performance and aesthetics that have ensured the success of the Original Sports Closure :
- Pressure holding capabilities of 3 bars
- High flow rate
- Active hinge
- High transparency
- Two colour option for enhanced shelf appeal
The closure is available with a standard 7mm orifice or with SimpliSqueeze® for maximum flow control. The SimpliSqueeze® silicone beverage valve is compatible with the PET recycling process.
The 1881 light Original is available now to companies changing to the new neck finish as part of their move to soften their environmental footprint.
