Attractive pouch entices snackers

The newest Nutorious snack, like the flavor varieties launched before it, is housed in a stand-up multilayer metallized pouch, manufactured by Flair Flexible Packaging. The 4-oz pouches feature easy-tear notches, zipper closure and a hole at the top, so that retailers can either stand the product on shelves or hang on a rack display.

Snacks made by Nutorious Nut Confections, a company based in Titletown, have landed multiple sofi Awards honors from the National Assn. for the Specialty Food Trade, were a Food of the Month selection by the QVC shopping network and landed a Golden Chile Award in the Fiery Food Challenge. As such, when the company recently launched its new Pumpkin Palooza nut snack, the product called for packaging befitting a winner.
